So recently I decided to spiff up my case by adding some LED fans. The problem I've encountered is when I hook up a fan to the MB it works, but the LED's are extremely dim.
My case is a Thermaltake Armor Revo. It comes with 3x200mm fans and a 140mm fan. 2 of the 200mm fans are LED and are controlled by the cases built in controller. Which works fine. But when I hook the fans up to the MB the LED's are dim. I've checked the bios to see if can I can up the voltage but don't seem to be able to..

My plan was to bypass the case controller and have existing fans and all new fans run off the MB and PSU...All new fans I have coming are 3-pin/4-pin so I was going to connect them to the PSU and the 2x200mm LED existing fans are only 3 pin and I was going to run them off the MB.

So here's my question...

Is there a way to run them off the MB and increase their brightness? or should I just get some splitters and hook them all back to the cases built in controller? Or are there any other options?

Sorry if I'm asking a question with a simple answer, I've only just recently started to get into PC customization n such. Thanks:)

They seem to run at the same speed. Although on the case controller I always have the fan speed set to low. The only difference seems to be the brightness of the LED's
