hey guys I have dell precision 390

q6600 2.4
6gb ram
gtx 670
650 w PSU

can I overclock this processor on dell precision 390 , if I can how

Your question is in regards to your setup which does not include an Asus motherboard. With your stock motherboard you don't have the available controls in your BIOS.

This is NOT the board for you to learn on. Should you have a main rig and you found this by a dumpster and don't care if you break it then by all means try the suggestion in the second link. Should this be your main PC I'd leave well enough alone.

If you have the most update BIOS that board accepts the QX6800. The .5GHz imo is not really worth the expense.
