so i built my pc a week ago, everything went to plan, booted etc... but when i play games, gta for instance, it will run for 5-10 minutes then cut all power. today i tripped the switch, so im scared. sometimes if i'm lucky, it does not do this.

here are the specs:

i5 2500k
asrock h61m-dgs
16gb ddr3 ram
gtx 970 (with arctic aftermarket cooler, installed by seller)
aerocool 800+600w aerocool psu (suspicious)
kingston 120gb ssd+1tb hard drive

it is plugged via extension lead, not to wall.

PLEASE HELP!

I would recommend this one as a replacement:
SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($64.99 @ Newegg)
