Plugged a hdd into my pc and it shows as e drive but it does not allow me to open it

It does not show the size of the drive it just says drive e when i click it it stays on a loading bar and when i try boot the drive it stays on the motherboards logo then goes blank and has only a mouse which can be moved but doesnt load windows

The drive is probably bad if it just showing drive E with no particulars.

It already had windows installed and it was woring fine but somone pushed the power button then it didnt load anymore after that

If it is that important, check out "get data back for ntfs" by runtime software. It is great software but it is not free. You can download the trial to see if it will work for you but will be required to pay in the end.
