While "HWMonitor" software; shows my motherboard temp is constantly around 109-112 degrees (Celsius) even while computer is idling. During intense gameplay, temps don't increase (according to HWMonitor) but case gets considerably warm to the touch.

Is it possible I am getting faulty readings from HWMonitor and if so, is there a better application I can use to check on temps? Also, has anyone any experience/advice to help improve cooling in this case - my cabling job is quite tidy btw.

Node202 has poor exhaust and currently I have one Noctua intake fan directly onto GPU.

CPU temps look good though (between 39-46) as shown by HWMonitor & CPU-Z

Thanks in advance for advice -

You may want to see what the temps in your BIOS are reporting. On that note, have you seen if the temps of your motherboard is as the numbers specify on HWMonitor? 100 Deg C is boiling water temps and the system shouldn't be operating at that temperature for even a minute, the system would've shut down immediately.

It's actually an mitx build FYI ;)

You forgot to include the OS.

Sorry my bad, I'm using Windows 10 Home edition and I realise its actually a mini itx build. Just had a brain fart while typing.

So, I checked the bios and during idle (34 Celsius) and right after gaming (approx. 40 Celsius)
