Computer won't boot anymore

Yesterday I installed a new faster harddrive to replace my old one. This morning, after I cloned it, I went to disconnect the old one and my PC wouldn't boot. Now, if I put back in my old one, it still won't boot. SOMETIMES windows will load but it'll randomly flash on the page before the login page. I have Windows 10, what can I do to fix this besides just wiping my harddrives? It would really take a long time to reinstall everything and some files would be lost. Thanks!

At this point I'm making the assumption that your present boot drive - the WD 1 TB Green HDD boots to the OS and functions without any problems.

IF THAT IS NOT THE CASE, READ NO FURTHER, CAPICHE?

Assuming it is...

Use a disk-cloning program to clone the contents of the boot drive to your new WD 1 TB Blue HDD. Since you're apparently using a desktop PC I'll assume you can connect that drive internally in the system.

I assume you know how to use a disk-cloning program.

Immediately following what appears to be a successful disk-cloning operation, shut down the PC and disconnect or uninstall the source boot drive from the system and boot ONLY with the newly-cloned HDD connected in the system. Hopefully it will boot & function without...
1. IMMEDIATELY before you undertook the disk-cloning program are you ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that the source drive - the HDD boot drive - was completely functional in that it booted straightaway without incident and subsequently functioned without any problems whatsoever? What's the OS?

2. And the disk-cloning operation proceeded normally - no error messages of any kind? What program were you using? You're ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you identified the appropriate source & destination drives for the disk-cloning operation?

3. So IMMEDIATELY following the disk-cloning operation you disconnected the source drive and booted only with the newly-cloned HDD connected, right? But the system wouldn't boot.

4. So then you uninstalled the newly-cloned HDD, reconnected the old HDD, but that drive also wouldn't boot to the OS, right?

5. Provide some detailed info re the system that's involved here.

So at this moment you're communicating with this "forum" with a different PC, yes?

Shoot, sorry for the last response, was REALLY busy with stuff.

So, the problem isn't fixed, but... idk what really happened. After I did all that, ya it didn't work, but later on (3 hours) it did? I also noticed that if I have to manually restart my pc, it will do the same thing It did before. If you still want me to give you the information above, I can, but right now I am just trying to figure out how I can CORRECTLY install windows on. If ya want to help (really appreciated) I made a new question.

I'll try to provide whatever help I can, but I really must understand the details of the problem and the system you're working with. I'm really at a loss to understand either.

You now indicate "I made a new question". What is the meaning of this? Are you indicating you posted a different message to this forum which involves a different issue or problem?

When I said "I made a new question" I meant a new page about this issue. My system specs
Intel i5 2400
8gb ddr3
1tb Western Digital Green(OS) and 1tb Western Digital Blue
RX 470 4GB

My question is how do I move the OS from the Green to Blue without having to wipe the blue harddrive.
