So I installed new SSD to my PC without going through tutorials n tips. My 2TB internal HDD was already installed n was using win 7 on it since long.
As i installed ssd n installed win 7 on it, everything worked fine at start for like an hour.. then when I tried exploring my 2TB internal HDD, it was running very slow. There I thought it might be because of the OS on internal hdd n decided to format it.
As I tried formatting it, data was erased but it got converted to RAW from NTFS. Hence I started using Google's help.
Rest of the partitions were fine but was very slow.. so i got this suggestion of using CMD for diskpart.
After spending hours and taking back up of imp stuff, i performed cmd diskpart thinking everything would be fine.. but the complete 2tb data was erased n the whole hdd became RAW now.. all the partitions became one n that too in RAW.
Need help resolving this as to how can i make the HDD work again.
PS : had no issues with the hdd prior installing SSD. Everything was working fine..no bad sectors nothing.

Solution
Hey there, Jayesh.

Try the HDD with a different SATA port and SATA cables, just to see if the same thing happens. What was the command you performed via Diskpart?
Since you've already backed up everything you need, I'd recommend that you download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool and run the tests, to see if there's anything out of the ordinary.

Hope that helps.
