HyperX Cloud Core or Cloud 2?

So, recently, the microphone of my Razer Blackshark broke down, and both the ear cushions tore apart too, so the headsets have become a bit uncomfortable. Since Razer stopped sending replacement ear cushions, I've been thinking of getting a new headset and my eyes are set on the HyperX Cloud Core and the Cloud 2 (The original Clouds are not available where I live, for some reason). Now, my main question is, should I go for the Cloud Core or the Cloud 2? The price difference between the two is around $40, so is it worth the extra price? And what does the Cloud 2 offer that the Cloud Core doesn't. Or should I just stick with my Razer Blacksharks?

One thing I forgot to mention, my main concern is sound quality.

P.S : Thanks in advance.

I don't think you want to go for either if you're looking for good gaming headphones, and I've been down that road, so let me explain. The 2 uses an fx processor for "simulated 7.1" which is crap. I had the 2 and while they ARE really, really comfy I didn't like the mike, and the sound is awful. Check out this vid b4 you decide. I switched to open headphones after watching these yt vids and upgraded to open after being burned by my clouds. Open headphones really give you the kind of big-assed soundstage for positional audio you need in games. And you just add a cheap mike that, trust me, will sound way better than the Clouds. Right now I'm using the Audio Technica ATH-AD700X. You can get the 700's for a price a tad cheaper than the cloud 2's on Amazon and I'm crushing at games where positional audio is needed. They're also as comfy as the clouds were - but I did add some aftermarket brainwavz memory foam earcups....The stock cups are still really nice, but I added the brainwavz to increase base a tad. But watch this vid and it will explain headphones for gaming. I did use the HD668b's they reference and they're OK but I wanted a bigger soundstage hence the AT's.

Thank your for your answer. Personally, I would have went for something like Seinheiser or Audio Technica, but the problem is, they aren't available where I live, and even if some are available, they are crazy expensive, so thats a bummer. Also, from what I know, the Cloud Core doesn't have that simulated 7.1, only the Cloud 2s have them.
