Quick Disclaimer: The only other time I've ever overclocked before was when I overclocked my old HD6970 way back when, so I don't know too much about overclocking.

I've heard that it's bad to run any processor over 1.4v, and I've recently noticed in CPU Z, that my i7 6700k (Which is overclocked to 4.6GHz) is running at 1.44v most of the time, but the thing is, it's very stable, in fact, it's immaculate. I render 3 minute 4k 60fps videos in around 16 minutes, which is much better than 10 hours on my old build. I don't want to turn down the voltage in fear of blue screening, but I feel as if I'm turning my i7 6700k into a blue sun, it runs much faster, but it's going to die so much sooner.
