Ok so i bought a new GTX 1070 and im getting lower fps than i should. In games like battlefield one i get like 80 when i should be getting at least 110. And in unigine heaven benchmark i get 87 when i should be getting over 100 plus then minimum should be at least 30 but it drops to 9

I was also reading up on this and someone pointed out you should check if your running duel channel, which im not. I then tried to put my ram in duel channel and found out that my 1-2 ram slots are dead. Would this be the issue??

Another point is that my PSU is kinda old and when under load it makes some unusual noises (3 years old)

Specifications:
CPU - Intel i7 6700k
GPU - GTX 1070 MSI AERO 8GB
Memory: 16Gb DDR4 2133Mhz
Motherboard: MSI Z170A-G43 Plus S1151 ATX Intel Motherboard
Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX750
WINDOWS 10

What game settings level in bf1? That Heaven score is quite low but could be normal. Who said your minimum should be 30?

And broken RAM slots can be a bad sign. Do both chips work in the working slot? (One at a time)

Have you monitored GPU power draw and system voltages?

Have you got Windows on Performance mode? Or the GPU on quiet mode?

ok so both chip work in each slot so 3-4 work but 1-2 are dead
https://www.mediafire.com/?war47r4n0b2emgl thats the log where i tested it with the heaven bench mark running
its in the normal mode
The graphics card is the OC version and ultra on bf1. was looking at other peoples benchmarks on the game and they get 120 fps with the same specs as me

The stats show that everything is running as it should. Although the power draw doesn't get over 80% the temps are hitting 80c and I wouldn't let it get too much hotter, but your fans are only running at like 60% so you could turn those up and would probably lower that quite a bit, giving you room to OC it. I expect the benches you are seeing are from overclocked cards, and you should check CPU temps too.

According to this you arent going to get 110fps Ultra at 10780p on BF1 though..

Your two RAM slots not working is a much more worrying problem. Its often a sign of bent pins in the CPU socket. I wouldnt be happy just leaving that, and would try to find the reason if I were you. It could be affecting your GPU performance too.
