I'm having a lot of trouble installing Corsair AF120 LED Fans into my new build.
No matter what, I cannot get the screws to screw in all the way. When I am able to screw them in all the way, they must be at the perfect angle. Unfortunately, 95% of the time I cannot get a perfect angle, even if it looks like a perfect angle. I've been at this for hours, my wrists are sore. I've tried switching to an electric screwdriver, which helped speed up the screwing process but still ends in failure almost every single time. If it's not at a perfect angle, it stops cold and I need to unscrew it and try again. I'm also worried that I might be damaging my motherboard. The drill was really rattling my case, but I was getting desperate. I've probably already completely ruined one of the fans by drilling hole after hole trying to get it right. I've heard that some people have accidentally snapped their fans, but luckily that has not happened to me yet.
Does anyone have any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? I tried using WD-40 as well to lubricate the screws but that really isn't helping. Thank you for your help.

The power driver will not damage your motherboard in any way though the method with which you're describing the screws going in says that you're either not holding the screw driver properly or that you're suing the screws improperly. True they need to be centered until a third of the way in they start to guide themselves in thus the term self tapping screws.

* Don't lubricate them, btw WD is more of a water displacer than a lubricant.
