Did I buy an incompatible product? (SLI Bridge with Asus Rampage 3 Extreme)

Hi guys,

I am pretty sure I messed up and bought an SLI bridge that doesn't fit with the spacing in my motherboard.

I have an ASUS Rampage 3 Extreme, and two EVGA GTX 1070's FTW edition.

I bought the EVGA PRO SLI BRIDGE HB 1 Slot (Here is a link)

Honestly, I didn't really look into it too much, and just ordered it thinking it would work, but now I am trying to install it, and it doesn't seem to fit properly.

Is there any solution, other than returning the product?

Is there an alternative high bandwidth SLI bridge equivalent to this product that would properly fit?

With the graphics cards installed in PCI-Ex16 slots 1 and 3, you wanted the SLI Bridge 2 Slot (link)

Your only alternative is to return the one you purchased.

Oops :(

Would the 0 Slot spacing work as well then? And if so, would it give me space between the two cards?
