This has been a problem for a while now, but it has become more frequent. Basically, sometimes when I start my comp up, the dedicated graphics card won't seem to work at all. I'd log on to WoW, fps would be in the mid 20s. When it's working properly it's usually up to the mid 90s. A simple restart would usually fix it and it would be good for the rest of the day.
Now, it's almost all the time when I power up the comp that the graphics card is just not kicking in. It's like 50/50. The times it does kick in, it eventually stops working out of nowhere. For instance, just a moment ago I was playing WoW, it was working fine, up to 90 fps. I tabbed out to look up something on the internet, tabbed back in and my FPS was down to the mid 20s. Same thing happened yesterday with Skyrim except I didn't tab out, I just loaded into a new area and bam...
So the problem is definitely getting worse. Not sure what's causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW I did turn off the integrated graphics and set the dedicated one as default in BIOS.
