I recently switched my GTX 680 SLI to GTX 1080 and at the same time I also switched my rams. After that, the PC would restart without blue screen when playing games that put load on the GPU or in the Unigine Heaven benchmark. (Furmark doesnt cause restart, same with prime 95).

The problem should not be the rams since memtest showed no errors and after I switched to the old rams the problem was still present. The temperatures are also decent.

The drivers shouldn't be causing the crash since I uninstalled them and then installed again.

My PSU is the Nexus RX-1K 1000w. It's old, but it didn't cause crashing with the 680 SLI that draws more power than the GTX 1080.

My system:
I7-3770K @4.5 ghz
Asus maximus V GENE
Asus Strix GTX 1080
Nexus RX-1K 1000w
Kingston HyperX 2x8 gb

GPU is less than 65 celsius and processor less than 70 celsius, so temps shouldn't be causing the issue. Thanks for reply.
