Compaq laptop won't connect to wifi

My compaq laptop won't connect to the wifi even though there are connections are available. It just shows the yellow hazard triangle and says no internet secured. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your help - I've tried that but it cancels the windows which are trying to open after I click ok with the text in the box and also having clicked to create with admin privileges

I am sorry, but this doesn't make sense? Are you familiar with the command prompt?
