Want a new 802.11ac router. Will it be backwards compatible?

Hello, so I'm thinking of replacing my old 802.11g router with the newest 802.11ac one, however I have an iPhone 5 and I know that it does not have a 802.11ac chip, so I won't be able to use the wifi at home. I'm just wondering if any router offers a mixed signal such as 802.11ac and 802.11n to let some devices use AC while the others use N in order to let all devices connect to the internet. Thank you!

Solution
All AC routers are backwards compatible, so you should be fine with any device you like (if you're still unsure, you can always go to the vendor website, check the product specifications and find the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac part).
