I recently moved to university and have been living there and i took my PC with me before i moved i had no problems at all. Since i have been here my computer keeps freezing up completely randomly. I tried loads of troubleshooting and had been reading online. Doing a mem test, updating drivers, running in safe mode, checked my hard drives for bad sectors. The strange thing is when i moved back home for Christmas is it stopped freezing. Now i'm back at university it has occurred again. The freezing happens completely radomly and lasts from 30 seconds to 4 minuets at a time, i occasionaly get a message saying my graphics drivers had stopped working, but this is uncommon. The freezing can occur a couple of minuets after startup or not for a few hours and can repeat randomly from there.

If this had occurred after moving one-way, I'd suspect something came loose in transport and would suggest you reseat (still not a bad idea) but, considering it only appears to happen in one location it's more likely to be the power outlet and/or wiring overall.

Not my area of expertise by any means, but when at university, I'd suggest you check other power outlets near you to see if the problem repeats itself.
If you simply must be hooked up to the outlet you're using, then a UPS may help filter/stabilize things for you.

I doubt it was anything that wasn't seated properly because I returned home and it was fine and now I've come back it's started again, I will try another power outlet as suggested, thank you

Tried a different plug socket, tried unplugging everything thing else and just have the computer and monitors plugged in (incase anything else charging was causing interference). The computer sits on a metal grill on the desk and I covered that incase it was causing any static still no help. Just trying anything that might help at this point. The next steps would be starting to spend money; I did have a look at a UPS but I think that would be a last resort as they seem to be around £60.
