Hi guys,
Here's my current issue, everytime I try to install some things I keep getting an error telling me that "the Source File is Corrupted" and I always have to click the "Retry" button just so that the installation can proceed. This forces me to constantly monitor the install throughout and click the "Retry" button whenever it shows up. This is very annoying especially for large files. Pic below is the problem.

The issue began when I changed my CPU from an AMD to a Intel, forcing me to also change the motherboard. Ever since that, I began experiencing this issue when installing; though it doesn't happen for every installation, only to some.

Things I have done to try and troubleshoot but fail:

  • ■ Reformatting and reinstalling the application from a new Windows 7 64bit
    ■ Tried installing the EXE onto another machine with a clean Windows 7 install and the installer worked without a hitch
    ■ Moving the EXE file to different drives and trying to install it from there

Something weird is happening and it's obviously my PC since the installer is able to work on other PCs without any problems. Please help, this is very problematic for me.

Solution
I found the solution. The cause of this error was related to my RAM.

I have apparently be using two different RAM. One being Kingston KVR21N15S8/8(A single-rank RAM) and the other being KVR21N15D8/8(A Dual-rank RAM). It became apparent when I used only one of the RAM and it worked fine but when I used both at the same time they caused an issue.

Here's the two RAMs I used:

■ KVR21N15D8/8: http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR21N15D8_8.pdf

I kept the old 2TB Hardrive and added a new SSD that I use for my OS.

for whats its worth MS support suggest the following

Download the files to a different location, after the download tally the downloaded file size with the actual file size. In addition try deleting the temp files.
A.   Click start, type %temp% in the start search box and press enter.
B.   Delete the temporary files listed
Double click the download file and start the installation.
