Hey , (My english is not very good so please bear with me) I have built a new pc with

*Gigabyte H110m-S2 mobo

*Intel Pentium G4400 Skylake

Now, I have installed Window 7 from usb ( Initially there was a missing driver error but after installing Gigabyte usb image tool i was able to install window 7 through my pendrive ) After installing windows, my pc is detecting usb keyboard and mouse but not detecting Pendrive , Ext HD , Ext DVD drive. Basically i can not install drivers or do anything . I have tried loading optimum setting from bios but the problem is still there, ANY IDEAS?

that sounds like a plan. win 7 was never very good at lan drivers. you always had to remember to get them beforehand so you connect to the web.

no idea why usb ports not working though. not seen that though it may be a combination of skylake and windows 7. there was some limited support there initially and i'm not sure it was fully supported with win 7 by all manufacturers.

you need to get drivers for each item individually if windows is not providing them. it's also possible that running windows update will find the missing drivers for you and install them.

either option works most of the time. give windows update a shot and see if it finds the drivers for you. that's the easiest way :)

did the new motherboard come with a cd? that should have all the lan drivers and such on it to get the net working. if not, then you'll have to get the drivers off your mobile or whatever system you are using now and transfer them over with a usb drive or by connecting to the pc with a usb cable form your mobile to transfer it.

here is a direct link to the download page for your mobo to make it easier on a mobile device http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5576#dl

ok another option is to try a linuz live dvd if you have a dvd drive. or it runs from a usb drive also. it will boot up and run from ram. should work your lan and allow you to download the drivers. this is about the last option i can think of right now :)

but you'll still need a separate pc to make the dvd/thumb drive so you can boot to it. i use this one from time to time when i need a quick fix like this. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD

also possible a usb wifi stick would self-install if you have access to one and a wifi signal. windows usually has those drivers built in and will run it without any extra installation. just a thought anyway

might be, might not be. it has a lot of drivers built in as well and may be able to get your mobo lan running right away. but it may not. these things are rather hit or miss. generally, windows update does the bulk of the work but it may work out of the box with win 10.

let me think on it a bit more and see if i can think of any other way. but i believe i have hit all the ways to do it if the pc in need does not have the needed net access.
