I recently bought a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 (MSI) GPU, I still have the stock 0KWVT8 Dell Motherboard and a i5-4440 @ 3.10GHz CPU

I was looking at a MSI Gaming Intel Skylake B150 LGA 1151 Motherboard with an i7 6700K 4.00 GHz CPU

I was wondering what some good options for a new motherboard and a CPU would be.

well for the cpu you choose here is an unlocked version meaning. that you can overclock doe the mobo you have selected is b170 you would need a z170 to get the full max out of your cpu.

if you want to save on some components then i5 - 6500 3.2ghz -3.6ghz or i5 6600k is a good option as with games nowadays use dual core cpus

could go for the z170 asus pro gaming i5 6th gen cpu and ddr4 ram

So MSI Enthuastic Gaming Intel Z170A LGA 1151 (Z170A Gaming M5) Motherboard would be a better option than the MSI Gaming Intel Skylake B150 LGA 1151
Kinda sticking to the MSI boards just to match everything inside

you can get an msi z170 i had just suggested this as an example it is up to the buyer what they would like. it was just you had b170 with a k version of a cpu to get the max out of that cpu then a z170 mobo is that option

Oh, I see what you're saying, thank you. Which cpu would be better for the Z170A Gaming M5, an i7-6700 FC-LGA14C 3.40 GHz or the i7 6700K 4.00 GHz
