Hey everyone!

Im having this problem when I check msi afterburner during games. In Battlefield 1 I know its a problem with the game, but in others I noticed that my processor is almost at 100% all the time of usage, and my gpu sooometimes at 98%, but it keeps between 70%-80%. I dont think any game would make an i5 6600 be on 100%. My gpu is the gtx 1060.

Any tips? Or is this normal? Thank you already

Solution
If the CPU usage is 100%, the GPU usage can't go higher because the CPU doesn't allow it.

Some games don't need the GPU usage to go 100%, or aren't optimised well enough to be ran at 100% continuously. It isn't a sign of system malfunction usually, but rather dependent on engine coding.

Yeah, Battlefield is very cpu bound, but isnt wrong that the gpu does not keep constant at 90% or above of usage? Dying Light is keeping my cpu at 90% on average.

No, nothing. And even Audacity or shadowplay shouldnt make any difference. And RCFProd cleared it. Besides, in the campaign there are no problems

Oh, thanks man! Good explanation, and yeah, I knew it couldnt be my system. Everything is knew., Besides, in the campaign, the cpu is on 50% and I get the 95fps. Its the multiplayer where things get wrong. Still, thanks!
