Where can I find a displayport 1.3 cable?

I just bought a new 4k monitor, and managed to overclock it to 81hz- but the displayport 1.2 cable that came with it can't carry above 4k at 60hz as I know, so I searched and searched for a dp 1.3 but can't find one anywhere! Displayport 1.4 has been released already, so surely 1.3 would be commonplace right now? Can anyone help? Will my monitor even have a dp 1.3 slot?

What monitor? And how did you overclock it if the cable doesnt work?

Never, mind, brain fart, I crossed HDMI and DP in my head...

I imagine any decently priced DP cable will support the bandwidth necessary for 4K @ greater than 60hz.

Using the nvidia control panel, atleast it said it was displaying 81hz. The monitor is LG 27UD58-B

Typical advice is to use the cable the monitor came with, but since you are overclocking, this may be the only time I would ever recommend a premium cable.

Best advice is to keep the cable as short as is necessary.

That's perfect man, except I'm English and amazon doesn't ship from america to england

Tried changing then url .com to .co.uk and just get an error. Tried searching the same title in amazon.co.uk and nothing useful came up.

Huh, Amazon.co.uk doesn't even have a category for Display Port under cables...

Almost all the search results return DP to HDMI adapters or straight up HDMI cables. Very odd.

I didn't have any luck locating any cables that claim 1.3 support.

Looks like that Fusion4K company no longer manufacturers DP cables, bummer.

I checked Scan and Aria as well, I'm stumped.

Extra shielding and a short length are about it. There is no internal difference that I am aware of. Just like ethernet cables it comes down to bandwidth without errors in transmission. DP 1.3 and 1.4 run at up to 32.4Gbps.

They still do manufacture them. I've been using them for the last 2 months, nothing but good things to say about them.
I just ordered another. Fusion4k Video cables are top notch.

Good to know, I'm not really sure what I was looking at back in January, but I distinctly recall a lack of cables on their home page.
