I have been playing ps4 and Xbox one and I just got PS4 PRO and VR. I want to do some PC gaming and try VR on the PC.
I don't want to spend a ton on the PC because I will need a new monitor. Right now I have a PS 3D display and a Asus VE248H.
Can I upgrade my HPE- 210y or should I build new. This will be my first build from scratch. I upgraded the PSU and GPU when I first bought the HPE-210y.

I am in the US and I would like to stay around 1500.00 since I still need to buy a Display. I am not sure if i should go with a 34" Ultra wide or a 40" 4k monitor. I have decided not to go with a 4K TV. I don't mind if you select Intel or AMD I have computers with both chips but the laptop I use the most is an Asus with i7 & Geforce 840m. I would like to upgrade to continue to play VR and other games. I am more into games like GTA 5, Hitman, WatchDogs. Batman. I also want a DVD/CD burner

Will do any VR stuff you throw at it and allow you to do some games in 4k (maybe not at max detail). If you want 4k max you really need 2 GTX 1080's in SLI.

I did not include a Windows 10 license as you can now deactivate your license off your old PC and use it on this one. However if you want to keep your old PC you will need to buy a new Win 10 license for this one which is about 90 bucks.

Thanks so much! This is exactly what I needed and I am not worried about maxing anything. I just want to play and I am more into the VR than anything. The PS VR is so much fun I can't wait to play on PC
