i recently tried to sli two gtx 980 sc's. when i hooked them up and bridged them i turned my pc on and everything seemed fine except SLI wasnt working. my pc recognized i had two cards but i couldnt activate sli in the nvidia control panel, the option didnt show up also the pc would freeze when i tried to go to geforce experience or just freeze in general after around 10 minutes each time i restarted. after switching the cards around trying to get it to work, i turn the pc on and one of the cards fans run at full speed and the pc starts turning on and off over and over. i take one card out, same problem. i switch to the other card, it barely works and i get a bunch of white horizontal lines on my monitor. i have no idea what the hell just happened lol
