Athlon II X2 270 + Powercolor Rx 460 will bottleneck?

Well i buyed this video card and noticed some fps spikes on games like csgo but i tried on Mirrors Edge and it was great, it was keeping above the 60fps.

CSGO is very CPU dependent, the RX 460 is fine for that game but your processor is not. I can't imagine any somewhat modern title where your processor won't bottleneck your RX 460 significantly.

i guess that the proc is too slow for most of things. maybe you could found some used phenom or fx for good price. or maybe only you can is upgrade cpu and mobo...

i was thinking about buying an fx 6300 or an fx 8300, because i have an asus M5A78L-M LX3 motherboard. Will the fx 6300 or the fx 8300 bottleneck with the rx 460? btw i cant buy another motherboard for now, before i buyed the rx 460 i was thinking about buying a h110m and a i3 6100 but it bottleneck with my other gpu, ty for answering :).

i am not sure if a78 chipset supports 8cores, but i guess that asus has an bios that support up to 6 cores... if that is true i ardly suggest buy the 6300 and ONLY if it has a really good price, if not, stay with e athlon until can buy a newer mobo proc.
what do you mean with the h110 and i3? how was that bottleneck?

i dont speak english well because im from Argentina so yeah i have some grammar errors. I was meaning that after buying the rx 460 i was thinking about buying a h110m and 8gb ddr4 ram and then buy the i3 6100, but right now i cant enter to the computer because the severe bottleneck that i didnt thought before (it shut downs after like 5 minutes of use). Now i need a processor to athleast enter to the computer. I only want to play games like csgo, rocket league, league of legends, battlerite

vale... dices que te compraste la hermosa rx y luego tambien compraste una i3 con su placa madre.... ese tu bottleneck al parecer no es realmente tal sino un fallo te recomiendo que reinstales el sistema operativo entero en otro disco duro (la tipica formateada).Para detectar el problema tambien es recomendable que uses el equipo sin la tarjeta de video. la verdad creo que es un lio de falta de energia en elpeor de los casos-
juegas en las o lan? lolcito digo xD
y mmmmm la verdad creo que con el athlon 62o tienes para jugar bastante, quiza el csgo no

el rocket league ni idea,lolcito es suave battlerite tampoco.
creo que en todo caso, una excelente grafica para el athlon 620 es la rx 460. En fin, me gustaria saber un metodo para saber si el bottleneck es por la grafica o el cpu.

no tengo un i3, tengo un amd atlhon ii x2 270 el cual hace cuello de botella con mi gpu (unico factor que no tuve en cuenta a la compra de la gpu, me referia a comprarme un fx 6300 ya que mi mother solo acepta am3 (es una asus m5a78l-m lx3). Yo no me di cuenta que iba a hacer cuello de botella, una vez comprada me di cuenta al probarla y como no tengo el dinero para comprarme una mobo h110m, 8gb ddr4 y un i3 6100 estaba pensando en comprarme un fx 6300 para una rapida solucion y luego ahorrar para una mejor mobo y comprarme el resto de mi planning. Hoy la encendi y el procesador sufre tanto que hasta viendo videos se me tilda. Otro factor que vi fue que tengo solo 500gb de almacenamiento y tengo en uso un 50%, podria hacerle un formateo para ver si soluciona algo. Si queres hablame por mp y dejamos de hablar en español aca.

oh damn i see it now, i guessed and misunderstanding... i saw a "athlon x4 620" same as mine, but it is an x2 270... and YES! go for the 6300 but only if it is cheap, i mean, it is kinda a "old" and may be would not worth if it is expensive right now. And instead of even try buying a i3 with a mobo and all that, the best suggest is waith for the $%&$% zen, all my ope in amd is in zen, if those procs does not work as they must, amd will only make gpus
