My GPU fans aren't spinning

I built a computer today and everything seems to be working fine except that my GPU fans turn on and then stop spinning (I haven't booted the computer out of bios). I would put more research into this but I have school and everything kinda has to be done soon (I really don't have time, I apologize). My GPU is a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 2GB OC. It apparently doesn't have a PCI cord (or not one that I'm aware of), so I don't know if that's a factor. I also have a 500w PSU. So I was wondering, is my PSU too low (the recommended is 300w), is there some type of fan control, PCI slot, or do the fans just not fully blow at certain times, etc. I really just need some tips on why this is happening. Again, I'm really sorry if this is a simple question that requires no thought but I'm on a time crunch. Thank you very much for your time, I really appreciate it.

Most of the aftermarket twin fan gtx 10 series have a zero fan profile below 50-60c.
Its the norm now, not something I'm personally fond of but that's my preference.

Try some gaming on it & you'll see the fans kick in after a few minutes.

You can force the fans to run low rpm at idle with the gigabyte software that came with the card or with MSI afterburner should you wish.

Does your model have the words "Fan Stop" on the side of the GPU facing away from the mobo? I have a gigabyte 1070 and when the words "fan stop" light up, it means the fans have stopped.

There's nothing that I'm aware of but what if there is a light saying "fan stop"?

It is just a cool thing Gigabyte added to their graphics cards. It isnt good or bad. Just a nice detail.
