Hey guys my PC won't turn on when connected to 18 pin power line but it does turn on when connected to 10 pin source. I have cooler master V650 fully modular PSU.
So is there any problem with my psu cause I just bought it 2 days ago and can still replace it.
Or is there any problem with my motherboard that it connects only to 10 pin. My mobo is Gigabyte GA-G41MT-ES2
Please help me with this.
Thank you.

You need to attach both the MB 20+4 pin and the CPU 4+4 (just half of it) to the motherboard. 24 pin and 4 pin.

1. Connect the 24 pin to the motherboard, 18 pin and 10 pin on the PSU.
2. Connect the 4+4 pin cable - 4+4 pin (detachable) to the motherboard (4 pins only) and the 8 pin to one of the PCIe/MB slots on the PSU.
