Installing win 7 on a completely blank laptop hard drive

Hallo I just bought myself a new laptop hard drive. I started to install windows 7 on it and I got all the way up to( where do you want to install window) and there is a box that comes up with all categories name total size free space and tired but in the box there is nothing there how do I reinstall Windows 7
