The GTX 750 Ti is significantly better, the GT 710 has no CUDA core, which will be harder to render physical calculations for game effects such as flame and gases. The clock speed on the GT 710 is only 1.8 GB/s whereas the GTX 750 Ti has a 5.4 GB/s, this will make a pretty nice FPS difference. Also if you're going any higher in resolution of 2560x1600, then it's best to get a GTX 750 Ti. Also if you were going to edit and render videos, the GTX 750 Ti has double of the amount of bus width, which is 128 bit, as well as 6x more memory bandwidth, which will render your videos more quickly.

FPS Benchmarks I've seen on YouTube:

GT 710:
Rise of the Tomb Raider (Medium Settings) - 25 AVG FPS
GTA V (Low Setting) - 24 AVG FPS
Crysis 3 (Medium Settings) - 19 AVG FPS
Battlefield 4 (Low Settings) - 32 AVG FPS

GTX 750 Ti:
Rise of the Tomb Raider (Medium Settings) - 38 AVG FPS
GTA V (Low Settings) - 67 AVG FPS
Crysis 3 (Medium Settings) - 53 AVG FPS
Battlefield 4 (Low Settings) - 83 AVG FPS

As you can see, it is quite the significant difference, the GTX 750 Ti 2G is better than the GT 710 2G.
