2GB Vram still enough for 1080p gaming ?

You could play a game but you have to lower graphics to at very lowest. It will drop alot fps. 4GB is the minimun for medium gaming.

Turning some of the details down such as texture details helps tremendously, you should be able to play anything new smoothly at 1080p these days with that. That is the main consumer of your VRAM.
No you do not need to turn things to the lowest, just test it out and adjust the texture details accordingly.
