hey,

i've currently got an oc (4.2ghz) i5 2500k with an old gtx 560 ti (system bought second hand) and i was thinking of replacing the gpu by a gtx 770, the advised psu for the 770 is 600 watt though.

i've currently got a corsair vs 550, will it be able to handle the pressure?

and if not, would it be better to go for a gtx 960 or to pay the premium an get me a new psu and the 770?

als included in my rig:
one hdd and one sdd
zallman cooler
8gb corsair ram

thanks everyone.

if i were to replace it i would probably get a seasonic s12II 600w, will that be good enough for overclocking?

thx for your contribution btw

i'm going for a budget build, hence the looking into secondhand cards

That PSU is not very good but if you are planning to buy graphics card + PSU it would probably cost you the same as just a single 1060. ALso i am pretty sure youd be better off with like a 1050 than a 770.

probably the best option since the current psu is 5 years old and second hand so i don't really know everything it went through,

thanks btw!
