2 TB external Hard drive not opening on my PC

I bought this to copy files off of my Mac computer, that o longer will boot up, with that done I tried to open it on my PC. It is Seagate 2 TB Backup Plus Slim, It stated it could be used between PC and Mac, and Mac to PC. I down loaded the app from the store. I am running windows 10.
Please assist me with this.

Hi there Krysteia,

What happens? Do you get some sort of an error message? What app are u using?

One thing you can do is to go to Disk Management, and see what is the file format of the drive. (FAT32, NTFS, ExFat, etc.) We need to see if the drive is in a file format that is supported by both Win and Mac.
