Hi, I need help to choose a graphic card for my new computer. It is a gamer PC but I don't want to spend too much on it (I will not pick gtx 1080 :) ). I thought about getting a gtx 1050 ti 4gb but then I saw the gtx 1060 3gb and the gtx 1060 6gb. I don't mind paying a bit more but I am not sure if the 1060 6gb model is worth the investment or I could just pick 3gb model or the 1050. I don't really need to set everything in ultra but I would like to be able to play games with this PC for some years even in the lowest setting.

So which one would you pick?

Thank you in advance.

1060 6gb is better. The extra 3gb will come in handy is gpu intensive games. BTW 650w will even power the GTX 1080. It s overkill for the 1050ti or the 1060. But if you are going to upgrade in the future why not? Just make sure it is a good brand.

From what you have said... "I don't really need everything set in ultra" and "I would like to play games with this PC for some years" I would just pick up the 1050ti. But, the 1060 is undoubtedly more powerful, and could probably run most of your games at (relatively) high settings and 60fps. -PCth

I think 300-400 € for a graphic card is too much but maybe I could afford it. The build will be:

* i5-6600k (or i5-7600k if it is near and same price more or less)
* Motherboard with Z170 chipset (I've read there is almost no difference with z270 so...)
* 16 GB RAM DDR4 2133 MHz (or 2400 if i5-7600k)

The manager of the store recommended a power supply of 650W (nox urano vx650) to use with the gtx 1050 ti. Will it be enough to power the 1060?
