System Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pKTG2R
The rear I/O USB ports on my motherboard have suddenly stopped working. I am not entirely sure why. Yesterday they worked just fine. My PC still works as I am typing this on the system, and many of the other ports on the board still works like the Ethernet port since I am using that for a connection. I've checked the BIOS and USB is indeed enabled, from what I can tell Windows still knows there is a USB Hub back there heres a screen shot of my device manager: http://prntscr.com/drk8hv
I've even tried updating the drivers manually, uninstalling the hubs and restarting, but nothing seems to be working. The front USB ports, the ones on the case, work just fine it's how I am using the build at all right now. This is the only issue right now with the motherboard too. Fans works, CPU works, GPU, RAM, etc. are all working just fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

i see on that mainboard 4 usb 2 and 2 usb 3, all of them have stopped working or only usb 2?

a short circuit, a usb device failing could kill the port itself, it can be fixed but is not cheap and simple, the controller can remain reporting on system but connection to it could be dead thanks to a fuse burned on the mainboard, some of then still come with this and that is the expensive repair i mention

what d o you connect back there?

check cables on everything you have connected there

if you can make work the keyboard on those ports, the problem is more related to drivers installed that windows wants to load there and is doing it wrong

All of them have stopped working, and nothing works on any USB port. The front panels were working, but now theyre no longer sending a signal. They have power, but they simply dont work. Im starting to suspect its the board.

I dont have anyway of trying to test with linux right now sadly
As for the motherboard it appears fine, ive even tried unplugging the USB port from the case and replugging it to try and get the front usb ports to work, but to no avail.

I cant even get into bios. Keyboard has ceased to work on any port I had to switch devices to report back to the thread. My PSU is a Thermaltake 650W I tried changing to an EVGA PSU i had to see if the PSU was the issue but no change.
