Could somsone recommend a good quality 1,000W platinum-rated power supply?

Could someone please recommend a very high quality 1,000 platinum power supply that has a single 12v rail?

I've been looking for a particular PSU for my new build (seasonic P1000) but can't find it anywhere and I think it may have been discontinued.

Not sure which SeaSonic you'd be referring to as the "P1000"? I assume the SS-1000XP from 2011(ish)?

The 1050W is the SS-1050XP3

It seems to be the replacement for, opposed to "better than" the SS-1000XP

It's a toss-up between the SeaSonic and the LEadex-made SuperNOVA P2. You cant really go wrong with either.

As I asked though.....why the 1000W & Platinum?

So, about 550W absolute max load? A quality 750W would be sufficient and give you OCing headroom. Doesn't have to be platinum either.
