Hello

I read the guide on CPU temperatures and I just wanted to confirm the safe temperature for my CPU. I have an i5-4460 and after a couple hours of gaming, HWMonitor shows the hottest core is reaching 64*C. Is this in the recommended operating range for my CPU? And for future reference, how high of a temperature should it get before I need to be concerned about it? Also, HWMonitor shows temps of the GPU, motherboard, and SSD. I monitor the GPU's temps but should I ever really check SSD and motherboard?

Thanks

the lower the better

the problems arise when you reach over 75 - 80°c

a ssd rarely reaches 40°c when doing lots or reads and writes, usually should be under 30 or 20°c

motherboard temperatures shouldn't reach 45 or 50°c, usually 35°c

if they do, you have bad airflow in your case, you need to install fans pushing air in and pulling air out to improve airflow
