ive just built a pc and put a bootable windows 10 usb in it. ive gone through the process and ive stopped at the hard drive formatting part . at first it recognised my hard drive but an error came up so i turned it off again and tried it again but the drive doesnt seem to be coming up. do i need to install a driver on a usb and open it.

btw theres a booting option for a " hard drive partition 0 " option when booting which goes through the windows 10 bootup process but recognises the drive as "drive " but it has " 0mb" on it and my hard drive is 1tb . the model number is HUA721010KLA330

Booting from the USB...
During the install when it asks where, select Custom
You will be presented with a list of partitions on that drive.
Select each one and Delete.
Leaving one large blank space.
Install to that, letting Windows create what it needs.

the bios recognises the hard drive as a hitachi hard drive but the windows 10 instillation processes wont recognise any drives. however when booting from the bios it gives me 2 options 1 for the usb bootable for windows 10 then another for "partition 0" which when clicked goes through the windows 10 instillation proccess but recognises 1 drive as " drive 0 " which has "0 mb " on it

Don't worry your not the only one who has had problems doing that exact same thing. I remember spending a lot of time getting all my stuff setup.
First if you have two hard drives, disconnect the secondary one until after your totally done installing windows 10.
Second in the bootable win 10 usb it has an option to format and and an option to partition it. If it shows anything on the screen go ahead and partition it so it will be totally brand new setup.
Third check your bios and make sure the hard drive shows up there and is set as the Master and is AHCI mode and not RAID mode.

Another thing is I had this problem back when my original SSD drive started failing. I had to totally replace it before everything worked good.
