Is this build suitable for mid level gaming?

Solution
Might be worth getting a Skylake, as you could upgrade CPU to an i5 or i7 in future. Your build isnt very upgradeable or future proofed. This has much more potential to be improved in future without getting a whole new system..

This is a pretty nice starter build. ^ You may want to look for dual channel memory though.

Wow that was quick! Thanks a ton for the help, I think I might replace my build with this one.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to frag most of your build parts. There is no point going down the AMD route for your CPU. the FX architecture is dead, you'd be far better off getting an Intel Core i3 6320 or the like. As its a socket 1151 CPU you could upgrade to an i5 or even an i7 later, thus you'd want a z170 motherboard (ASUS or Gigabyte) and preferably 16Gb of RAM. I'd also go for a 600 watt version of the PSU you've chosen and throw some money at an SSD and a 500Gb spindle drive over a single terabyte spindle drive.

Your GPU is not a bad choice, and I'd look at the corsair carbide series as far as cases go (200r or 300r).

Sorry to rubbish your pick list but if you only take one thing from the above then it should be to go with Intel.....or wait for the AMD Zen processor to hit the marketplace....it should be cheaper than its intel equivalent and performance wise most leaked info indicates it will be similar.

You don't need a 600w PSU with an i3 and a 1050 Ti. That Seasonic is very good quality. Only get a higher watt version if you arent sacrificing quality, but that'd cost more obviously. An SSD is debatable I admit, but was trying to stay within budget lol. Also put single channel RAM to increase possibility of future upgrade, as that board only has two RAM slots.
