Alright so I'm helping my friend build his pc. I build mine under 1k but it's only for gaming so I added the basics. His going into photography and he needs a pc that can do editing and graphing and all that nice stuff. Strong enough but. NO OVERCLOCKING!! Don't want no issues with it in the future to fast. No water system fans etc... I build just an exsample for him and he like it cause it's a lot but I'm worried it might crash to fast causes its a lot.https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LsN8Ps This is his setup. If anyone can. Help.l guide me and maybe send me some set ups for us to decide. And that goes well with his gaming and photography. It's eternet cable not wireless so no need for whatever you call it thingy. Something strong and durable and that's able to do all he wants and that lasts thanks.

Drop that aftermarket cooler. That is way overpowered for a non-overclocked build. You can get something that'll work just fine for a lot cheaper. I'd also like to see a better Psu in that build. You've got the budget for it, don't skimp on one of the most important parts.

Also, Kaby Lake is just around the corner, as is Ryzen. Hold off on making a decision on what to buy exactly till those parts drop.

I'll link a possibility to what is available now in a bit though, gotta do some research.

You are paying 310 dollars for the 6gb 1060, might as well spend the extra 60 dollars and step up to the 1070 if this rig is for gaming. I'd also like to see you drop that Rosewill Photon from the build. Only scored a 7.9 on jonnyguru , and that's not very good. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=405

Upped it to the 1070, swapped out the ram for better CAS, lower speed and lower price Ram in a 2x 16gb setup, much better quality Psu that supplies plenty of power.

Why are you buying 4x 8gb sticks of Ram? Stick to 2 x 16gb's just in case you ever want to upgrade to 64gb's. It doesn't always work to mix ram, but its definitely worth a shot instead of locking yourself into having to buy completely new ram.

I like it. Now, with that said, unless you absolutely have to buy it now, wait till Amd Ryzen and Kaby Lake hit the market. Ryzen might offer better performance or better price, and Kaby Lake certainly will off one of them. Both of those are just around the corner and well worth the wait.
