hello i was wonder if my pc wound be compatible with the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti as i would like to upgrade my pc to get better fps my pc specs are

AMD A8 6600K APU with radeon HD graphics 3.90GHz

64 bit operating system x64 based possessor
my graphics card now is nvidia get force 210
500w

thanks for your help it really does mean a lot

Solution
You'd need both, the processor is more important though. You could get 200 most of the time with an i3, but it wouldn't be as stable as with the i5.

Yeah, would have to know what your power supply is. That's a crucial bit of information.

But there's one serious problem with your PC right now. You're running your PC with a GPU (the 210) that's actually far weaker than the integrated graphics in your 6600K - there's no reason you should even have the 210 installed right now. Depending on what games you play, you may not even need an additional upgrade beyond using the components you actually have.

Again, you first need to be trying your PC out on the superior integrated graphics over the non-gaming GPU to see if that meets your needs. Also, if a PC shop actually installed a 210 for you over the much better option, be sure to never go to that PC shop again.

how do i try it on the superior integrated graphics? and yes im never going to that shop again

If you're only playing CS:GO, then you should consider investing into a better processor as that game is highly CPU bound. I'd suggest an i3 6100 at a minimum or the i5 6500 if you can afford it. You won't need that powerful of a graphics card, a gtx 1050 should do or you might be able to find a used 960 or 770 locally for cheap. If you want your FPS to be 200 or above (which is necessary to get the most out of a 144hz monitor if you have one), then there's no way around needing an intel processor at the moment. If zen offers comparable single core performance then maybe we'll see a change, but for now that's the way it is.

EDIT: If you want to try the integrated graphics, uninstall the nvidia drivers using DDU or the Nvidia uninstall tool, remove the graphics card, plug whatever cable to the monitor you're using into the motherboard, and install the necessary AMD drivers for your APU.
