Hey guys so i bought a gtx 1050, i plugged the card in and installed the driver for the card, i restarted the computer and tried to play league of legends.
First of all , my pc felt much slower than before and my pc took forever to load my game. Furthermore, I was having 3-4 fps before i installed the card with the q6600 onboard graphics and now im having 6-7 fps with the very low settings, when i try to run the Nvidia control pannel, it says that my monitor isn't connected with any nvidia video card, however my tech gpu-z software cleary shows that it recognizes my 1050, i saw and the fans are spinning. I dont think this is a bottleneck issue because my q6600 is a quad core cpu and it isn't that bad so please someone help me what is the problem

Might try a different cable - not common but could have a bad one.

Whats the make/model of the psu and how old?

Is the bios the latest?

Keep in mind too you're running a new card on a very, very old PCIe slot but it should still be way more than you're seeing.

I think your motherboard might not be supplying enough power for the card to operate, and since it doesn't have a secondary connection, the card simply isn't "ON". Honestly, this is a bit back for me to know, did motherboards provide 75w to the PCI port on LG775?

ugh that i dont really know but i asked the guy who helped me buy this card and told me that it would run perfectly fine even with an older motherboard or an older type of pcie 16x
However this could be the problem here
I might go to the store with my pc tomorrow and try it with them to help me
