Hi

I want to but a gtx 750ti in an old Dell Vostro however, I'm not sure whether that card is compatible with this dell. It has a core 2 quad q9300 and 8gb Ram and 500GB hdd. I'm not sure if the PCI e slot is compatible with the gtx 750 ti.

ps (I'm kinda new to this stuff)

Thanks

As long as you have a PCIe x16 2.0 and higher, that card will work. Just make sure you have a 400 Watts PSU or higher. Some 750 ti cards (like GIGABYTE) even require a 6-pin PCIe power connector so you have to check if your PSU has one of those connectors or you can use Molex to PCIe connector as well but its generally good to have a PSU that is also designed to power a dedicated GPU. If you could tell us the model of the motherboard then it'll be easier to help you
