Okay, I'm gonna try to explain this as fully as I can as it is a bit of an odd one.
Yesterday I received all the parts for my new PC build and now that I have it built everything seems to be up and running so I decided to go ahead and install the drivers. Specs are as follows:
- Intel Core i5 6600K @ 3.9Ghz
- Gigabyte GA-Z170N-WIFI
- 2 x 8gb DDR4 Kingston Fury Black @ 2133Mhz
- 1TB WD Blue
- EVGA Nvidia GTX 1060 6Gb
- Be Quiet Pure Power 9 500w semi-modular
- Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Upon first install of the graphics drivers (as initially without them, the display runs at 800 x 600) the loading bar gets so far and my monitor stops displaying a signal. I try rebooting and restarting but after I see the windows logo the screen goes back to displaying no signal. In order to be able to boot into Windows I have to revert to a previous restoration point.
I have tried also to connect via the on-board motherboard graphics, except when I do that I don't even get to the Windows logo before it tells me the display has no signal. Furthermore, for whatever reason, I cannot seem to enter the motherboard setup (99% sure this is the same thing as the BIOS) after spamming F12 in true PC builder fashion thus not letting me enable/disable on-board graphics so that I can update Windows etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and if I haven't covered everything don't be afraid to ask, I'll try and respond relatively quickly.
Many thanks.
