My Samsung smart TV can detect WD passport and play movies from it. But PC can't detect the HDD. What should we do? Thanks

Welcome to the community, @staxeustaquio!

I'd strongly recommend you check how the WD My passport is recognized on other computers (if you have access to a PC/laptop) and see if it pops up there properly. I'd also advise you to check your Disk management in Windows and see if the external drive is detected there. Posting a screenshot would be really helpful (e.g. via Imgur).
It's also a good idea to attempt connecting the HDD with a different USB cable and to another USB port on your PC.
Once you gain access to the movies again, back them up on another drive or your computer, so that you avoid any potential data loss.

Let me know how it goes. Good luck!
