Hello, i upgraded to windows 10 few months ago and from then i am having this strange problem where my games take longer to come up on screen(not start). Sorry for my weak english, the game starts but the screen stays black for quite a few seconds. Some people suggested that it's a problem with the refresh rate of the screen. but i checked in nVidia control panel, my pc settings, but i couldn't find any problem there. Moreover, i can't change the resolution of any game from within the game, i need to use Geforce Experience to do that. But the games that are not supported by Geforce Experience, i can't seem to change it at all. i mean, when i select my resolution in the game and click apply, the screen goes dark for a few seconds and when it comes bank on, the resolution is set to the previous value. Can someone please help? I am using nVidia GeForce 950, Windows 10, intel core i7, 32GB ram. Thanks

Solution
First of all the card is very outdated.
Second have you tried changing the resolution to a lower one? Lso are you using hdmi 2.0 or a stanrd hdmi? It looks like your monitor dosent support such resolutions
