Hi,
I got Seasonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze but don't have enough 6+2pin to power up my
Powercolor HD 7970 PCS+ Vortex II. And then there's this person that wants to swap it to his Aerocool Strike-X 600W 80+ Bronze. He will add cash accordingly if I deal with him. My question is: Is it okay I got this aerocool psu or just buy 6pin to 6+2pin adapter(I can't find it yet nearby my place).
NOTE:
My PC SPECS is
FX-8320E
GB-970A-DS3P
Powercolor HD 7970 PCS+ Vortex II
7X140MM Fans
2X7200RPM Seagate HDD
(I am thinking of boosting my GPU, if needed)

The seasonic S12II 620 has all the required connectors to power a 7970, you just need a 6pin and 6+2pin which it has. The aerocool strike x is a junk psu and does not even compare to the seasonic in terms of build quality, reliability, and performance.

The seasonic s12ii has two 6+2pin connectors, the 6+2pin is an 8pin that can also be a 6pin. Use one 6+2pin with the +2 attached for the 8pin and a 6+2pin with the +2 detached for the 6pin.

Are you sure you don't have the 520 or the *M*12II 620? Those do have a 6-pin and a 6+2 pin.

If you actually have a 620, this is one of the very, very few PSUs for which I would actually be comfortable with an adapter. After all, we know the +12V output can handle it, it's not one of those liar PSUs that claim to be a 600W or 700W or whatever but end up only having up to 400W of +12V available and are missing the second connector for a very good reason.

If you're not comfortable with it, I'd sell the PSU outright and get an actual good one. Aerocool uses bottom-tier manufacturers.
