So. I've got this "Powerline Comtrend PG9073LG-TN" and this delivers the signal to "Access Point Netgear WNDR4300TN"
If I were to directly hook up my pc with the powerline I get a download speed of about 70/90Mbps. Now once I hook up my pc with the netgear that drops to 15 Mpbs. While my PS4 is connected to the same acces point and is getting the full 70/90Mpbs. <---This is all wired internet acces.

This is my laptop : http://www.laptopshop.be/product/698368/hp-pavilion-gaming-15-ak120nb-azerty.html?ref=266231&label=22734-AGI-39546111721-ASI-161986568190-698368&gclid=Cj0KEQiAyuPCBRCimuayhb3qqvwBEiQAgz62kaVpOfeAf8QYFp0dJzFlNLHiAkBn_v2lZKYi9TbCoEsaAq6w8P8HAQ

If I connect my PC to the wifi of the acces point I can get up to 40/45Mbps.
I honestly haven no clue what is going on here.
Once again I connect my PS4 to the wifi of the accespoint and it's able to get up to 90Mbps. While my laptop can only get up to 48Mbps at best.

I spent the entire day reading trough threads and forums, I tried countless options. I am sure that the problem is with my laptop. Because the accespoint is fully capable of delivering up to 90Mbps to my PS4. So I see no reason why it wouldn't be able to do that for my laptop, unless there's some kind of setting or configurations that's wrong.
And before anyone mentions it, yes I have tried different cables. And no, I still get 15Mbps with a different cable.

I compared readings from both: testmy.net and speedtest.net with the readings from the prestations tab in my task manager. And they all say the same.

Ethernet:
This is what is possible for my laptop : http://prntscr.com/drxrlm
This is what I'm getting: http://prntscr.com/drxs9x
http://prntscr.com/drxt5i
Wireless:
What my laptop is capable of :http://prntscr.com/drxtxt (As far as I'm aware it's using wireless N. http://prntscr.com/drxweq)
What I'm getting : http://prntscr.com/drxxlb
http://prntscr.com/drxxul

When I put put my network under some heavy load I max my ethernet out at 30Mbps and my wifi at 50Mbps.
There's still quite some loss there.
For the wifi, I may be using the wireless G seeing how that can get 54Mbps and my wifi maxes out at 50Mbps. Can I change this to the wireless N?

Have you tried just resetting the AP? And perhaps check the Ethernet card's driver on the notebook. Also, uninstall the network card in device manager and then restart the PC. If none of these help, then I have no idea what's wrong.

I would rather keep the reset as last resort. I honestly have no clue what I should do when the AP doesn't work after the reset. I tried uninstalling the card, no effect. I have found out, by putting some strain on my connection (Loading 3 videos in 4k at the same time.) I'm getting up to 30Mbps. That's nice and all but, that still doesn't explain why there's a loss of 50 mbps
