I just want to make sure everything is great before I build this.

Notes: I already have i7-3770 from my old PC and the only 1155 socket motherboard I could find is Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 in my country.

Thank you so much!

Be careful about mixing ram it can be finicky, make sure you get the same 8gb stick with the same specs if you do add more. And even than there is no guarantee that ram not packaged together will work together.

Single channel ram can affect performance noticeably in some games, fallout 4 would be an example of that...

Actually, I'm considering RX 480 8gb, it's just out of my budget as of now. About the memory, I chose 1 stick so the upgradability is somehow flexible and the dual channel doesn't really give big improvements. Maybe I'll earn and buy another 8gb.

GTX 1050 ti is my first pick until someone told me that 480 is much much better. I checked the benchmarks between 1050 ti and a 480 and the winner is always 480. Thank you for the suggestion. :)

A nice build. Although memory running in dual channel configuration gives a little boost, I would keep the 8gb stick as is, and later add another 8gb stick.

Also consider getting a better and bigger SSD if it is within your budget. For example Samsung 850 EVO 250gb. 120gb SSD is way too small nowadays.

Single channel ram can affect performance noticeably in some games, fallout 4 would be an example of that. But I would agree that in most games the difference is marginal.

The only reason I recommend the rx480 8gb is that it seems to perfom better than the 4gb version even when using less than 4gb of vram. Sometimes by a noticeable amount depending on the game.

Yeah the 1050 ti is more comaprable to a 470, with the 470 taking a slight lead. The 1060 would be the nvidia card in competition with the 480.

I'll consider getting 250gb but if I'm getting rx 480, that would be impossible at the moment. Thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you for the warning, I'll definitely look out for that. I'll just buy the same thing when I have the funds I need. Thank you for the suggestion!
