I just installed 16GB (2x8GB) of Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 3200MHZ RAM into my PC, set the XMP profile in the BIOS to 3200MHz @ 1.35v and my pc has BSOD twice in the last half hour, once while playing Cities Skylines, and then again right after i ran a Cinebench R15 CPU benchmark. I also have a Intel i7 6700k OC'd to 4.7GHz. @ 1.38v. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your OC should be configured when all your components are installe.d

I assume the 6700K was OC'd to 4.7 prior to installing the new RAM?
XMP profiles don't just impact RAM, they impact the BLCK Multi also, which in turn, is pushing your 4.7GHz OC a little higher too.

Yes it was OC'd before, and I checked the BCLK and it was set to 100.00 MHz before and after i set the XMP profile:

like Barty1884 said, you need all the parts installed before overclocking. Your cpu OC'd was fine with your old ram, now that you have new ram it is no longer stable with the new ram. Go back and redo your OC on the cpu, you will most likely not end up at the same speed and voltage as before.

Should i back off the CPU to 4.5-4.6 GHz? Or would maybe downclocking the RAM help? My old RAM was 2400MHz and was 100% stable with the CPU at 4.7 GHz

True, but i only got the 3200 cuz it was on sale for cheaper than the 2400, 2800 or 3000 at the time and i have read theres only about a 1-2% difference with overclocking ram? And the difference isnt noticeable unless your doing memory intensive tasks like professional rendering, but all i do is game on this pc. I did just set the CPU to 4.5 GHz @ 1.30v and set the RAM to 2800 MHz. also, the XMP profile set the RAM to 1.35v, should i set it back to 1.2v which is the default voltage for DDR4?
