I'm replacing my old fm2 a6 6400k for an amd athlon x4 880k and ive removed the heatsinks from my old cpu, lifted up the lever on the mother board, but my cpu is still firm and won't budge, something I've noticed is on videos the cpu moves slightly when you pull up the lever, but this did not happen to me, help please

UPDATE: I'm an idiot who didn't pull the lever back far enough, it's out now, but where do I align the triangle on the cpu with my motherboard, same corner as old cpu?

I finished the upgrade, and my pc booted seemingly normally, and after a minute on windows I got the "your pc ran into a problem" error and it has restarted, why is this?

I suspect some kind of software issue. (drivers maybe, or even an activation issue.) If there was a error in CPU/motherboard alignment, it would NOT boot.

After that issue, I booted it up again, and it ran smoothly and fine for about 10 hours through benchmarking and such, so I assumed one time issue, however I left it off overnight, and just rebooted it then, and I got the same thing after a few minutes of use, if it works fine after restarting is it an immediate issue or should I leave it till I have more free time for diagnosing issues

I would not say it is an immediate issue. It is, after all an intermittent issue, and therefore rather hard to diagnose. You may have to wait until you have a hard, and/or easily repeatable, failure to find a fix.
